Coming off a 10-3 season that earned them a berth in the Sugar Bowl, the Oklahoma State Cowboys will enter the fall ranked #19 in the Coaches Poll.
With 19 returning starters (10 offense/7 defense/kicker & punter) the Cowboys are looking to be a dark horse in a conference race that is touted to be just between Oklahoma and TCU. OSU will close out their season playing both of those schools on the road and would love for nothing more than to play the role of the spoiler. Getting there won’t be easy though as the Cowboys must also face Baylor and Kansas State on the road earlier in the season.
Joining Oklahoma State in the first Top 25 poll of the season are Oklahoma (#3), TCU (#14), and Baylor (#21).
