Could JUCO WR Marquise Brown Be the Answer at WR for the Sooners in the Class of 2017?

Sometimes playmakers are obvious when you watch their highlights. Certain players just seem to possess that extra gear, that shiftiness, the elusiveness which all but guarantees their future success on the gridiron.

This is the case with 2017 JUCO WR Marquise Brown 5-11/170 (College of the Canyons) from Santa Clarita, CA. Brown has seen his stock soar over the past few weeks picking up offers from WVU, USC, Tennessee, TCU, Nebraska, Oregon, North Carolina, and now the Sooners.

Brown tweeted out his Sooner offer earlier this evening.

It’s not hard to see how he would fit in the Sooners offense, as they will lose Dede Westbrook after this season. Should Brown end up a Sooner, it wouldn’t be a stretch at all to see him wind up being used in a very similar fashion to Westbrook.

The big task for the Sooners will be for them to find a way for Brown to visit for either Baylor or Oklahoma State. Should that happen, it wouldn’t shock me at all to see the Sooners wind up with one of the most talented players in the class of 2017.
