The commitment drought if finally over for the Sooners and it ended in a major way with the commitment of 4-Star JUCO WR Marquise Brown. Brown tweeted out his commitment moments ago with the following tweet.

Brown chose the Sooners over West Virginia. It’s hard to understate how big of a commitment Brown is for the Sooners as they are set to lose Biletnikoff Winner Dede Westbrook.
Brown is a unique JUCO in that he was a full qualifier out of high school, which means he will have 4 years to play 3 for the Sooners.
The thing that stands out the most when watching Brown’s highlights are his speed. I don’t think it’s crazy to assume that Brown could be the fastest Sooner on the roster when he sets foot on campus.
Brown joins fellow wide receiver commits Cedarian Lamb and Charleston Rambo. He also gives the Sooners an astounding 17 4-star commits for the class of 2017. I expect that number to continue to grow.
