Recruiting on the defensive side of the ball, the Oklahoma State Cowboys continue to make in-roads with Jeffrey Bassa. The three star athlete narrowed the list of suitors to six. It just so happens that the Pokes made the cut.

Hoping to convince Bassa to come to Stillwater to play safety, the Cowboys are competing against the likes of the Utah Utes, Oregon Ducks, Baylor Bears, Louisville Cardinals, and Arizona State Sun Devils. While O-State and Utah have shown interest the longest, Bassa still has yet to make any official visit to campus. As things open up later this fall, expect those to be scheduled. However, it’s unlikely a decision comes before then.
At 6-1 and 198-pounds as a high school junior, many surrounding the program hope Bassa can fill a role similar to that of Kolby Harvell-Peel.
