Big Kiwi Emerges as Anchor for OKC

Steven Adams has become a fan favorite in Oklahoma City, and it isn’t hard to see why either. What’s not to like about “The Big Kiwi”? Goodbye Kevin Durant

Kevin Durant on Free Agency: “It’s a basketball decision”

In two weeks Kevin Durant will be a free agent. Every team with enough coin and a decent roster will be in line to have an opportunity to convince him to sign with them. Many rumors of where he will be playing next season have surfaced, and while most of these are laughable (Golden State), others seem to be a possibility for Durant. However, none of these seem more likely than KD re-signing in Oklahoma City, even if it were just for one year. A one year deal in Oklahoma City for Durant would be worth $25.3 million. If he decided to sign a max contract for five years, he would be paid $150.2 million

Is Dion Waiters Future in OKC?

After a great season and an amazing playoff run, ending in disappointment, there are a lot of questions regarding the future of this Thunder team. With Kevin Durant becoming a free agent, this is shaping up to be the biggest summer for the organization since relocating to Oklahoma City in 2008. Every Thunder fan and sports anchor in the world is talking about Kevin Durant’s free agency. However, he is not the only Thunder player with a decision to make this summer. There is no doubt that Dion Waiters would have to take a pay cut to stay in Oklahoma City, but his comments in his exit interview have led many to believe he will re-sign with the Thunder.
