Big 12 Football Week Six Recap | The Good, The Bad,& The Ugly

Top dogs Baylor and West Virginia were off over the weekend but there were still plenty of fireworks to be seen. Dallas, Texas and Manhattan, Kansas were the site of the two biggest conference games where the Sooners and Wildcats both won to set up an even bigger game in Norman next weekend. Kansas and Iowa State showed continued signs of improvement but still came up short, in epic fashion, while TCU and Oklahoma State are lucky to remain in the conference title hunt.

Oklahoma Corner Michiah Quick Out Six Weeks With Knee Injury

In his post game press conference, following Oklahoma’s 45-40 victory over Texas, Bob Stoops announced the the Sooners would be without junior corner Michiah Quick for six weeks. “Michiah will be out six weeks with an MCL sprain, so it won’t require surgery, but it will require time,” Stoops said. Ahmad (Thomas) took a knee to the helmet, so he’ll have to be evaluated through the week.”
