Heading into Bedlam 2.0, the Oklahoma Sooners averaged 69.5 points per game. With just over 11 minutes remaining in regulation, Lon Kruger’s squad eclipsed that mark. The effort helped produce a 75-65 lead over the Oklahoma State Cowboys. However, the folks from Stillwater refused to panic. Consistently knocking down shots, O-State came from behind to seal the victory 96-92.

A Look At The Numbers
- Saturday night marked the highest scoring Bedlam meeting since 1990 (107-94 in the Sooners favor)
- Oklahoma State completed the sweep of their in-state rival for the first time since 2004
- After starting 0-6 in conference play, the Cowboys are now 7-7
- Both programs shot above 50% during the 40 minutes of play with OU connecting on 55% of their attempts from the floor and OSU hitting on a 50% conversion rate
- At one point, Jawun Evans scored 16 consecutive points for O-State finishing the game with 27 total points and nine assists
- Evans, Jeffrey Carroll, and Phil Forte combined for 72 points of the team’s 96
- Leading the way for Oklahoma, Rashard Odomes netted a game high 29 points setting a new career high for himself along with a career high 10 rebounds
- The underclassmen playing for Lon Kruger scored 85 points on the evening
- Lon Kruger remains one win shy of a 600th career win mark
