Storylines
With several fast starts and slow finishes — as well as a slow start and explosive second half in the last outing — fans continue to wait for the Oklahoma Sooners to play a complete game. Of course, Baker Mayfield is in the Heisman conversation and returns home for the first time since the beginning of October. Looking to avoid a similar fate in the last home outing, this group must step up to the challenge in a night game.
The Texas Tech Red Raiders started the season strong with an appearance inside the top twenty-five of the AP Poll. However, since conference play began, TTU has slipped up putting Kliff Kingsbury back on the hot seat. An upset win on the road could save his coaching stay at Tech.
