Lincoln Riley announced at his weekly press conference on Monday that he expects Kenneth Mann to be available when the Sooners open Big 12 conference play against Texas Tech on Saturday.
The redshirt senior defensive lineman had been suffering from an undisclosed injury that sat him out for the first three games of the season. He was close to returning for Oklahoma’s trip to UCLA but the decision was made to hold him out. Now, after the bye week, it looks like Mann is poised to make his 2019 debut.
Mann has played in 34 games during his Oklahoma career, logging 81 total tackles (11.5 for loss) and 6 sacks.
