We all knew it was coming but that doesn’t mean we couldn’t remain hopeful. Oklahoma received CeeDee Lamb has officially declared for the NFL Draft, bring to a close his career at the University of Oklahoma.
Lamb leaves OU having caught 173 career receptions for 3,292 yards and 32 touchdowns. Over the course of his career he managed to average 4 receptions per game and 19 yards per reception.
As previously stated, as much as we’d love to see him don the crimson and cream for one more season, we all saw this coming. The fact is though, this is the best decision for Lamb.
As possibly the most draft ready player in the Big 12, Lamb is virtually a lock to be a first round pick. He literally has everything to lose and nothing more to gain by returning to Norman for a final season.
