While most of the focus rests squarely on the 2021 recruiting class, the Oklahoma State Cowboys made an unexpected addition to the most recent signees. Late on Thursday evening, news broke of Dominic Richardson, a running back, enrolling at the university and joining the football team.
Still close to home but we miss you already. That smile on your face is so deserving and OSU could not have gotten a more awesome young man than our son. Congratulations Dominic(NicNic)!! We love you. pic.twitter.com/Vxfuj8tnLt

Holding offers from the likes of Minnesota and Texas, the running back possessed options of playing away from home. After some deliberation, Richardson signed with TCU during the early period. However, the situation rapidly changed between the prospect and the Horned Frogs. Making two late additions at the position, the Bishop McGuinness product decided it was best to cut ties.
As a senior in high school, Richardson rushed for 1,719 yards on 169 carries. The average comes out to an astounding 10.2 yards per carry. However, it wasn’t a one off for the running back who bigger numbers as a sophomore. In one final year, Richardson helped lead the team to the Class 5A State Finals, the Fighting Irish eventually fell to Carl Albert.
Check out @NicNic_00‘s career highlight tape! Has clips from all 4 years of his career. This thing could be way longer! He can do anything you want on offense. Such a special young player but a better man. Love you brother! #Time2Takeover https://t.co/GBf5CHPGYh

Possessing prototypical size combined with unrivaled strength and speed, Richardson may be one of the more unrated players of the class. Needless to say, the talent is a welcomed addition to the backfield in Stillwater.
