The Last Time Around
On January 8th Oklahoma beat Iowa State by a final score of 79-66. Mo Gibson led the Sooners with 20 points on 4-for-6 shooting and finished the night a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line. With Gibson’s last free throw made, it tied the Oklahoma school record for consecutive free throws made (37) with Nate Carter.
Scouting The Cyclones
Izaiah Brockington leads the Cyclones in points (17.2) and rebounds (7.7) per game. Brockington is also their team leader in minutes played per game (34.2) and has a conference best seven double-doubles on the season. Tyrese Hunter is the only other Cyclone to average double-digit points per game (10.9) and is ISU’s team leader in assists per game (4.3).
