Oklahoma City Thunder | Game #2 Preview: Denver Nuggets

Advertisements

The Oklahoma City Thunder started their season in dramatic fashion on Wednesday they just narrowly lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves 115-108. Despite trailing by as many as 16 points midway through the third quarter, OKC was actually able to take the lead for a portion of the end of the period and parts of the fourth quarter. In the end, though, Minnesota was the better the team.

Tonight, the Thunder travels to Denver to take on the Nuggets, who struggled in their own season opener. Despite being considered one of the favorites to win the Western Conference, the Nuggets dropped their first game of the season 123-102 to the Utah Jazz, but last night, Denver managed to defeat the defending champion Golden State Warriors 128-123. Needless to say, the Nuggets have a lot of potential to be the league’s best, so the young guns from OKC will have their hands full tonight trying to stop reigning MVP Nikola Jokic and his crew.
