OKC Thunder | Game #68 Preview: San Antonio Spurs

Advertisements

The Oklahoma City Thunder has a Sunday night matchup in San Antonio as they take on the Spurs in the second game of a back-to-back. OKC defeated the New Orleans Pelicans on Saturday 110-96, and now the Thunder has a great opportunity to move up in the standings if they can pick up another win tonight.

Defeating the Pelicans last night tied OKC with New Orleans in the standings, but because of the tiebreaker, the Thunder is still in 12th place. A win tonight could move OKC all the way up to 10th, or perhaps even higher if some other teams ahead of them lose.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander will likely sit out because it is the second game of a back-to-back, but the Thunder has plenty of weapons to defeat the Spurs, who have been tanking for pretty much the entire season. OKC needs to take care of business tonight and get back home.
