From the day he first arrived on campus, in Norman, Anton Harrison’s potential was on full display. A member of the 2020 recruiting class, Harrison came to Oklahoma as a 4-star recruit who was the No. 17 offensive tackle in the class and the No. 4 overall prospect from the D.C. area. During his 2020 freshman season he played in 9 games before coming a mainstay on the offensive line in 2021 and 2022. In total he played 1,866 snaps for Oklahoma in which he allowed just 4 quarterback sacks.
Harrison was named to the All-Big 12 First Team by the league’s coaches and AP in 2022, and was on the Outland Trophy Watchlist as well.

Most people feel like Harrison is destined to be a starting tackle in the NFL but he’s going to have a little bit of work to do in order to polish up. His size and strength are there but the difference in speed on the next level may show some of his shortcomings in regards to athleticism.
Strengths
- Active and powerful hands.
- Able to extend his arms to gain control of pass rushers.
- Seeks out blocking opportunities when uncovered.
- Above average foot work.
- Strong motor and plays through the whistle.
- One of the best collegiate pass protectors in the nation.
Weaknesses
- Needs to make strides in run blocking.
- Hand and footwork aren’t quite coordinated.
- Recovery time is a bit slow.
- Fantastic at blocking on the outside but needs to improve on the inside.
Draft Prediction
#47 Overall to the Washington Commanders
Harrison has a chance to be a first round pick. I think Cincinnati will take a hard look at him but ultimately I would expect the Bengals to address offensive skill position needs at either tight end or running back.
The Eagles and Patriots are other possible landing spots for Harrison.
