Oklahoma City Thunder | Game #20 Preview: Houston Rockets

Advertisements

The Oklahoma City Thunder survived a 30-0 run on the road against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday to come away with a 126-120 victory. After a 3-day break, they are back on the road on Wednesday night as they take on the Houston Rockets.

The Thunder and the Rockets are in similar situations in that they have young teams that are working to get back to Western Conference notoriety. OKC is slightly ahead of Houston in their rebuild, and while the Rockets have impressed at times so far this season, the Thunder has taken the league by storm in a lot of ways.

The Rockets are currently riding an 8-game home win streak, and the Thunder wants to ruin that as they enter having won 5 of their last 6 road games with the 1 loss being a 3-point decision in Minnesota to the Timberwolves. OKC is a slight favorite, and they actually match up quite well with the Rockets, so this should be a fun one that likely comes down to the wire.
