Our Friday Locks crew had a solid performance in Week 2, going 6-6 on their picks. While we would have liked to improve our record, we are above .500 on the season overall.

This Week’s Picks:

Week 3 Picks

Caleb

South Carolina +6 against LSU | The Tigers haven’t looked impressive and South Carolina looked great last week. I really like the South Carolina in this match up.

Missouri  -14.5 against Boston College | Missouri has looked hot these past 2 weeks and BC has yet to beat a team that has won a game this year.

Purdue +7.5 against Notre Dame | ND hasn’t been impressive this season and I think Purdue and a sneaky good team this season.

Craig

Arizona +7 at Kansas State | Kansas State had a rough outing last week against Tulane. Meanwhile, Arizona is coming off of an impressive win.

South Carolina +7 vs LSU  | Coach Beamer has South Carolina off to a great start this year. I think they’ll keep the ball rolling this week against a questionable LSU team.

Utah State +18.5 vs Utah | Due to the absence of Cam Rising I’m going with Utah State to cover the spread in this one. I do think Utah will win this game, but it’s going to be a close one.

Matt

Arizona +7 at Kansas State | Arizona has a potent offense led by quarterback Jayden de Laura. Wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan has been a standout performer, but the Wildcats will need to find other ways to create scoring opportunities.

Alabama -16.5 at Wisconsin | Alabama has been dominant in their first two games, showcasing their offensive firepower and defensive prowess. Wisconsin has shown improvement but still faces challenges, particularly on offense.

South Carolina +6 vs. LSU | While LSU’s offense has the potential to score points, South Carolina’s defense should be able to limit their scoring opportunities

Zack

Alabama Crimson Tide (-16) at Wisconsin Badgers | The Badgers have looked pretty mediocre through two weeks of football against South Dakota and Western Michigan. The Crimson Tide should win by 20 with little pushback.

Washington State Cougars at Washington Huskies (-4.5) | Blah blah rivalry game blah blah. Give me the Huskies at home by at least a touchdown.

Oregon Ducks @ Oregon State Beavers (+16) | Now THIS is a rivalry game that will be much closer than the spread. The Ducks haven’t looked good through two weeks, and the Beavers have home field advantage, so I’m thinking a single-digit decision.
