Why the Thunder Will Cover (-5)
OKC is better than they were last season, and I’m not convinced the Mavericks are. However, the Thunder is missing quite a few pieces, and that could make all the difference tonight. Still, Dallas had a game last night, while the OKC is freshly rested, so I’m taking the Thunder to cover the spread in what will likely be a matchup decided in the fourth quarter.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (231.5)
OKC plays defense, and Dallas is going to be tired. I might be comfortable with the under on the point total if it was 221.5, let alone 231.5.
