Fresh off a dominant start to their inaugural season in the Southeastern Conference, No. 1 Oklahoma (27-0, 6-0 SEC) hits the road once again for a three-game set against Missouri (17-13, 0-3 SEC) from March 21-23 at Mizzou Softball Stadium. The Sooners will look to extend their unbeaten streak while the Tigers aim to secure their first conference victory of the season.

Oklahoma holds a 55-41 edge in the all-time series, including a 19-10 record in Columbia. The last time these teams faced off, the Sooners dismantled Missouri 11-0 in six innings during the 2023 Norman Regional. Scouting Missouri
Missouri opened the season ranked No. 15 nationally and boasts a few impressive wins, including victories over No. 7 Duke, No. 16 Nebraska, and No. 20 Northwestern. Gabbie Garcia – The Freshman Phenom
Garcia has been on fire, riding a team-best 13-game hitting streak with nine home runs on the season. She recently became the first OU freshman since Jocelyn Alo to homer in five consecutive games and was named both SEC and D1Softball Freshman of the Week.
Sam Landry – The Ace in the Circle
Landry was nearly unhittable last week, going 2-0 with two saves and a 0.47 ERA over four appearances, including a complete-game shutout against Arkansas.
Cydney Sanders – The Veteran Powerhouse
Sanders recently played in her 200th career game and sits among the NCAA’s active leaders in home runs (51) and walks (137), providing a steady presence in the middle of Oklahoma’s lineup.
