Creed Humphrey’s NFL potential was evident almost immediately after he took the field for the first time in 2018. Winning the job as the anchor position in the middle of Oklahoma’s Joe Moore Award winning offensive line, Humphrey snapped the ball to, and helped pave the way for, Heisman trophy winning quarterback Kyler Murray. His redshirt freshman season ended with him going up against future #3 overall pick Quinnen Williams in the College Football Playoff and he more than held his own. He was named a freshman All American in 2018 and was a second-team All-Big 12 selection.
In 2019 Humphrey was a second-team All American, the Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year in the Big 12, a first-team All-Big 12 selection, and one of three finalists for the Rimington Trophy. The 2020 season would be his last in the crimson and cream and he was named first-team All Big-12 and was a third-team All-American.

From the time he stepped on the field Humphrey was Oklahoma’s best offensive lineman. He’s balanced, physical, and smart. He plays through the whistle and has a degree of nasty to him that has become notable for the top offensive limen coming from OU line coach Bill Bedenbaugh.
Strengths
- Being a three-year player allows him to enter the NFL with a lot of experience.
- Was relatively healthy in college.
- Has a strong core.
- Has strength in his hands and knows how to use that as an advantage.
- Finishes blocks with intensity
- Solid footwork and hip movement
Weaknesses
- Short arms allows defenders to either get into his frame or separate from blocks at times.
- Laterally quickness isn’t elite.
- Can grab and hold at times.
Draft Prediction
#69 Overall to the Cincinnati Bengals
Creed Humphrey is an elite offensive lineman but he’s in a bad draft for the center position. I believe that most of the offensive line picks in the first two rounds will be guards and tackles which will leave Humphrey as a steal early in the third round. He’s truly a first round talent that will go unneeded on the NFL shopping lists until late in the second round at the earliest.
That said, it also would surprise me for a team to see him sitting there and snag him in the second round. There truly is a lot of interest in him from across the league.
Other possibilities for Humphrey could include Kansas City, Chargers, Miami, and Seattle.
