Series History

The Thunder went 1-3 (0-2 at home, 1-1 on the road) against the Nuggets last season.

Why the Thunder Will Cover (+3.5)

Oklahoma City is 2-0 to start the season for the first time since 2016-17 when the Thunder won 4 straight to begin the season and 6 of their first 7. OKC has their hands full in hosting the reigning champion Denver Nuggets, but I’m okay with being a bit of a homer in this one and saying the fans show up for the home opener, and the Thunder show up for the fans by getting a win, thus covering the spread.

Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (230)

I’m guessing it won’t take long this season for the Thunder and the Nuggets to be looked at as two of the top offenses in the league. Meanwhile, both teams have played some pretty solid defense through their first two games. While I think this could be a high-scoring game, I don’t see it breaking the 230 point total.
