Series History

The Thunder went 1-4 against the Timberwolves last season, including the Play-In game. (0-2 at home, 1-2 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (+3)

The Thunder is 4-0 against the spread as road underdogs so far this season, and tonight is probably their toughest road test thus far. The Timberwolves are really good at home, losing just one game so far this season, so OKC will have to play some of their best basketball if they want to leave with a win. Jalen Williams is set to return from a hip strain, so with the Thunder at full strength, I think they can come away with the victory.

Why the Game Will Hit the Over (228.5)

The Thunder and the Wolves have two of the better defenses in the league right now, but I still anticipate plenty of points tonight. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander vs. Anthony Edwards will be the matchup to watch, but don’t sleep on Chet Holmgren matching up with Karl-Anthony Towns. This should be a fun night of two of the league’s up and coming contenders.
