Series History
The Thunder is 1-0 against the Knicks so far this season (1-0 at home, 0-0 on the road).
Why the Thunder Will Cover (-4.5)
The Thunder defeated the Knicks in OKC one week ago 117-107. New York had the lead for a good chunk of the game, but OKC was too much too late. Winning on the road, particularly in a place like Madison Square Garden, is obviously more difficult than winning at home, but after dropping a close one to Cleveland on the road on Wednesday, I see OKC getting back on track with a solid win in a tough environment—and covering the spread in the process.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (225.5)
The last meeting had a point total of 224, so this one is expected to be in the same area. I think OKC matches up with New York pretty well—especially if Karl-Anthony Towns doesn’t play—and as a result, I’m expecting a lower score in a close game, so I’ll take the under, but just barely.
