Game 1: OU 7, Cal State Northridge 2
The Sooners opened the season in strong fashion, led by standout performances from Ella Parker and Isabella Smith. Parker tallied three RBIs, while Smith kept the Matadors in check with 3.1 scoreless innings. Freshman Abigale Dayton made an immediate impact, hitting a home run in her first career at-bat. Game 2: OU 11, San Diego State 6 (9 Innings)
OU needed extra innings to put away a scrappy SDSU squad, but Isabela Emerling’s ninth-inning grand slam sealed the win. Sam Landry and Audrey Lowry combined for 16 strikeouts, with Lowry securing the win after 3.1 strong innings of relief. Parker stayed hot with a two-hit, two-RBI performance, while Pickering launched a three-run homer to break open the game.
Game 3: OU 8, California Baptist 0 (5 Innings)
Fresh off a relief win, Isabella Smith delivered a perfect game against California Baptist, needing just 52 pitches to complete the five-inning masterpiece. Nelly McEnroe-Marinas starred at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. Parker continued her torrid hitting, going 4-for-4 with a double and an RBI. Defensively, the Sooners were flawless, with Dayton making a diving stop in the third inning to preserve the perfect game.

Oklahoma’s bats exploded for two five-run innings, with Gabbie Garcia launching a grand slam in the fourth and Emerling adding a three-run shot in the sixth. Kierston Deal took a no-hitter into the seventh before Isabella Smith closed out the win with 4.1 scoreless innings. Dayton, who also made a game-saving defensive play in the fourth, delivered the game-winning RBI double in the 11th.
