2017 DB Kobe Boyce 6-0/170 from Corinth, TX has been flirting with a commitment switch to the Sooners for a while now, and it wouldn’t shock me if the wait was soon over.
Boyce visited the Sooners officially for the Ohio State game and showed up again as a guest of the Sooners at the Red River Shootout. Boyce took to twitter after the Sooners victory in the Cotton Bowl and said the following
Why it is perfectly plausible that Boyce had something completely different in mind with these tweets, one can’t help but read into the situation. Boyce sounds like a prospect that is on the verge of a flip. Further, when you consider the mess that is taking place in Austin and the uncertainty of Charlie Strong’s future, my guess is that it won’t take too much to convince Boyce to flip to the Sooners.
My prediction for Boyce is that he flips his commitment to the Sooners, sooner rather than later (pun intended).
Boyce has offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Duke, Houston, Iowa, Iowa St., Ole Miss, Miss. St., TCU,Texas, TTech, Utah, and the Sooners to name a few.
