Although the Green Wave knocked down shots with consistency, the Sooners defense swarmed forcing 15 turnovers. Leading to open looks and easy points, the offense proved capable of putting up points. With outings of 97 and 89 points in their first two outings, this squad appears prepared to move forward with the likes of Buddy Hield, Isaiah Cousins, and Ryan Spangler.
Jordan Woodard shined behind a 22 points perfomance while adding seven assists, six rebounds, and four steals. Join in on the fun, Rashard Odomes added 15 points of his own. Yet, the biggest surprise may have been freshman Kristian Doolitte.
In the first start of his career, Doolittle pulled down 12 rebounds and found the bottom of the net tallying eight points. The length and athleticism this kid possesses should turn into something special under the direction of Lon Kruger.
