Well maybe not ever, but at least for this season (tell me again why he finished 3rd in the Heisman race).
Quite often everyone says that a quarterback needs to be poised, not let emotions get the best of him, and keep himself in check throughout each game. The thought is that gives a quarterback the best chance to be successful and limit his mistakes. Baker laughs in the face of this idea. His entire career to date proves that is entire idea is garbage.
Baker talks more trash, wears his emotions on his sleeve, and is the first to celebrate after a huge touchdown or play. And I wouldn’t want him to be any other way. His enthusiasm is contagious. His leadership is uncanny, and he has led the Sooners to a couple of incredible seasons.
It also doesn’t hurt that he can drop dimes like this.

And Scramble and do this.
Sooner fans should be ecstatic they get to see this for one more season. I know I am.
