Well this is never the news you want to hear, but Sooners defensive back Parrish Cobb has likely played his last down of college football as a warrant has been issued for his arrest in connection with several robberies in the Waco, TX area. Here is the tweet confirming the news.

Following this news, the Sooners have suspended Cobb indefinitely, and if the charges are indeed true, then Cobb will subsequently be kicked off the team.
Cobb is also considered a suspect in a ring of armed robberies over the last two weeks.
This is both a terrible and sad situation. Cobb had everything in front of him. He was a 4-star recruit who led his team to a state championship, before finally landing at Oklahoma. He was likely the heir apparent to Jordan Thomas, and by all accounts had a bright future that likely would have included playing in the NFL.
We will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
