According to reports from GoPokes.com offensive linemen Jesse Robinson and Matt Mucha will not be returning to the team in 2017. Neither was a starter in 2016 both both players were members of the offensive line rotation with Robinson playing guard and Mucha at tackle.
This news comes on the heels of Oklahoma State deciding to part ways with offensive line coach Greg Adkins following National Signing Day where the Cowboys only signed two JUCO transfers on the line. Whoever the next offensive line coach is in Stillwater will become the fourth coach of that position in the last five years and will face immediate issues with depth.
Robinson would have been a redshirt senior in 2017 and Mucha a redshirt junior. Both will graduate in May and it’s unclear as to whether their absence is in protest to Adkins being let go or in conjunction with them graduating and just moving on with their lives.
