Two Oklahoma Sooners Arrested Early Sunday Morning

Early this morning, an Oklahoma quarterback found himself being charged with public intoxication. No it wasn’t Baker Mayfield this go around — whom, by the way, has yet to receive punishment for his actions from the university or football program! Instead it was true freshman Chris Robison. The 18-year old was 12 hours removed from the Spring Game when booked in at 3:30 am Sunday Morning.

Initially reported by Carey Murdock via twitter, early-enrollee Robison wasn’t the only one taken to jail. Walk-on defensive back, Ronnie LaRie followed suit roughly two hours later.

The trend is becoming quite alarming as this is not the first instance is such actions and consequences. First Parrish Cobb was involved in an armed robbery earlier in 2017. Then, a video of Mayfield resisting arrest while publicly intoxicated circulated the internet.

The Sooner coach staff and university hire ups have had people eyeing the program since the Joe Mixon incident. What does the future hold? It’s hard to tell but something must change.
