In the wake of Cameron Rising decommitting from the Oklahoma Sooners, two others have followed suit. The most recent of the group, Theo Wease Jr. committed to play for OU during Junior Day held on February 19th. A four-star recruit ranked 34th nationally, the receiver renounced his commitment on Monday evening. Now, Wease continues to pick up offers from around the nation as his recruitment process once again heats up.
Prior to the aforementioned decommitment, the Sooners lost Arjei Henderson on April 23rd. Another four-star prospect out of the state of Texas, the wide-out received several offers leading up to April 23rd and has received another from Tennessee since.
While both these players hail from the state of Texas, it’s anyone’s guess as to where they’ll end up. Witnessing the effort Tom Herman continues to put forth for the Texas Longhorns, could these two flip sides of the Red River Rivalry? Only time will tell.
