The Sooners take to the road to open up Big 12 play and the Baylor team that awaits them is a far cry from the teams Oklahoma has faced in the recent past. The Bears (0-3) have struggled to find their way this season but showed signs of improvement in last week’s loss at Duke.

Storylines
Oklahoma won big at home last week against Tulane but still saw a slight drop in the polls. Regardless of what others may say, I do believe that style points matter…which is why the Sooners slipped a bit. Not only does OU need to start fast, they also need to play clean and look crisp in doing so.
The Sooners also need to stay healthy. With the injury list growing, Oklahoma very much needs the bye week to get here. Getting out of tonight’s game healthy gets OU into the bye week is a good spot.
