The Oklahoma Sooners entered the Red River Rivalry with a few question marks concerning injuries. Fortunately for the offense, Ceedee Lamb proved he was ready to compete at a high level. In the receiving game, the true freshman averaged 24.7 yards per catch. Shaking off a potential shoulder injury, Lamb provides a deep threat with every snap.
On the other side of the coin, Abdul Adams remained unable to suit up. Standing on the sideline, the camera quickly displayed a the boot on Adams foot. Taking a slower approach to the running back group, Lincoln Riley took to podium on Monday to address the situation. Providing “boring information,” the head coach said, “Adams is getting healthier.” However, his status moving forward continues to be labeled as questionable.

One player the media seems to have forgotten about is Matt Romar. The defensive tackle suffered an injury that caused him to miss the Baylor game despite being a game time decision. Since that point, the senior has not been spotted on the field. While the defense is improving, it’s clear the veteran lineman has been missed. Did Romar suffer a season ending injury? At this point in time, we have no information to go on besides this:
