MBB | Oklahoma Sooners Debut In AP Poll At No. 17

Throughout the duration of the season, the Oklahoma Sooners have played a majority of their games away from home. However, that has not limited the number of wins the program has collected before entering conference play. Over the last two outings, Lon Kruger’s squad has secured wins over ranked opponents with the most recent being a win over No. 3 Wichita State in Wichita, Kansas.

The effort on the court has turned heads as Oklahoma enters the national conversation at No. 17 in the AP Poll. It’s a jump of nine spots after sitting just outside the top twenty-five.

As far as the conference is concerned, the Big 12 now boasts six teams inside the top twenty five. Conference play is going to heat up as the Big 12 stakes a claim for the best in the nation. How will things shake out when it’s all said and done? Can all ten programs make an appearance in the post season? I still think so!
