UTSA (0-1) is led in scoring by Nick Allen and Keaton Wallace who scored 15 points each in the season opening 77-76 loss to St. Edwards. Allen also grabbed eight boards, tying him with Giovanni De Nicolao who poured in 13 points.
Oklahoma’s season-opening win came against former OU assistant Lew Hill. Senior guard Christian James scored a career high 29 points, while also grabbing three rebounds and a pair of steals. His 29 points are the most by a Sooner in the first game of the season since Buddy Hield totaled 30 in the 2015 opener at Memphis.
