- Oklahoma State became bowl eligible for the 13th consecutive season, extending a school record. The streak is also the 10th-longest active bowl streak in the nation.
- The Cowboys are now 5-1 in their past six games vs. opponents ranked in the A.P. top 25.
- Saturday was Mike Gundy’s eighth career win over an AP top-10 opponent and the 19th in OSU history.
- It marked OSU’s second win over an A.P. top-seven team this season.
- It also marked the first time in school history OSU has beaten A.P. top-10 teams in back-to-back home games.
- Saturday was the fourth time in school history OSU has beaten two A.P. top-10 teams in one season.
- Oklahoma State has four straight wins vs WVU, extending the longest streak for either team in the series.
- With the win, OSU matched its second-largest comeback victory in school history after coming back from 17-point halftime deficit to win the game. It was OSU’s eighth 17-point comeback win, and its first since doing so against Iowa State in 2016. The only larger comeback came in 1979 when OSU come from 20 points behind to defeat Colorado.
- Taylor Cornelius tied a career high with five touchdown passes; he also had five in the season opener vs. Missouri State. He has had three or more in six games this season.
- Cornelius was 30-of-46 passing for 338 yards, marking his sixth 300-yard game of the season. That total is tied for the fourth most by an OSU quarterback– only Brandon Weeden and Mason Rudolph had more in a season.
- He also finished with 106 rushing yards to become the first OSU QB to eclipse the 100-yard rushing mark since J.W. Walsh had 125 yards on the ground against Mississippi State in 2013.
- Cornelius became just the third player in Big 12 history to have 300 yards passing, 100 yards rushing and five passing touchdowns in a game. The last to do it was Baylor’s Seth Russell in 2015.
- Chuba Hubbard finished with a career-high 138 rushing yards to give him back-to-back 100-yard efforts after posting 104 last week.
- Dillon Stoner recorded career highs with nine catches and 127 yards. He has had at least one catch in each of his last 23 games.
- Tylan Wallace had two touchdown catches for the third time in the last four games. The Biletnikoff Award semifinalist finished the game with seven catches for 62 yards and now has 75 catches for 1,344 yards and 11 touchdowns on the season.
- Jordan Brailford finished with a career-high 10 tackles; his previous high of eight came against Kansas earlier this season.
