First things first: we need to give credit where credit is due. Cowboy quarterback Spencer Sanders had one of the best games of his career and by far his best game of the season. Oklahoma State relied heavily on the run early, and Sanders played a key role that in that by using his feet to help the Cowboy down the field, but his first pass of the day was a 5-yard completion to Brennan Presley for a touchdown.

The no. 12 Oklahoma State Cowboys (5-0) are well-rested after a bye week last weekend. Good thing, too, because today they travel to Austin, Texas, where they will take on the no. 25 Texas Longhorns (4-2). The Longhorns crumbled last weekend, giving up a 21-point halftime lead to the Sooners before eventually falling 55-48, but today’s matchup still has major conference championship implications.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys played a far from perfect game on Saturday night. Losing the turnover battle 3-0 is no way to put on your best performance. Despite the shortcomings of primarily quarterback Spencer Sanders, the Cowboys were able to overcome and hold on for a 24-14 win at home over the Baylor Bears.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys took an early 7-0 lead against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, and they looked read to make it a two-score lead before halftime. Tulsa had other plans, however, as Spencer Sanders threw a pick 6, and all off a sudden it was 7-7 at the break.
