Cowboys are supposed to ride in and save the day right? That’s basically what 4-star receiver Langston Anderson did late Wednesday afternoon when he chose Oklahoma State, over Baylor and Ole Miss, as the place to advance his football career.
“I want to thank everybody for coming out and I want to thank God,” Anderson said. “I want to thank my coaches, Coach Wig for making me a better football player. I want to thank my parents. That said I’m going to continue my education and my athletic ability at Oklahoma State”
As a senior at Midlothian Heritage, Anderson recorded 72 receptions for 1,291-yards and 18 touchdowns. He also rushed for 156 yards on 14 carries and three touchdowns.
His commitment gave a huge boost to a recruiting class that previously only had one other four-star commitment. He was the nation’s 47th wide receiver prospect and the 45th overall ranked player in the state of Texas according to 247Sports.
