Oklahoma State entered Saturday’s contest with West Virginia as the only Big 12 school to have a winning recorded in Morgantown. The padded those stats with their third-consecutive win at WVU Coliseum.
Freshman guard Isaac Likekele shot 7-of-10 from the floor to set a new career-high in scoring with 23 points. Cameron McGriff added 16 points with Curtis Jones contributing 15, off the bench, and Thomas Dziagwa contributed 11, giving the Cowboys four players in double figures.
McGriff also pulled down 10 rebounds giving him his fifth double-double on the season and his third in the last five games.
OSU’s 85-77 win is their second in a row over Big 12 opponents after starting out 0-2. Their season record is now evened out at 8-8 and they are 2-2 in conference play marking the first time since the 2014-15 season they weren’t below .500 in Big 12 play after four games.
West Virginia’s James Bolden scored a game-high 31 points in the losing effort. The Mountaineers dropped to 0-4 in conference play.
