The Oklahoma Sooners have yet to close out the 2019 Recruiting Class. However, that has not stopped Lincoln Riley and the rest of the staff from looking toward the future. On Tuesday, the program extended offers to two 2020 prospects on the east coast.

On the defensive side of the ball, OU has an interest in Myles Murphy. The defensive end currently holds offers from various powerhouses across the nation. Rated as a 4-star recruit out of North Carolina possesses prototypical size at 6-4 and 240-pounds. As a member of the class of 2020, Murphy stands to gain quite a few more offers before the end of his senior season. Settling down into a strength and conditioning routine, Murphy’s potential could easily skyrocket.

Looking on the offensive side of the equation, the coaching staff hopes to land a big receiver. Once again dipping into the state of North Carolina, the university has an interest in Mike Wyman. At 6-4, the wide receiver could potentially create numerous problems for defensive backs on the collegiate level. The Big 12 is not short on taller wideouts who have proven the fact. A 4-star recruit, Wyman could simply be the next in a long line of talent at the position that clears the 6-4 mark.
