Series History

The Sooners have never beaten Vanderbilt in their brief series history. The two schools have only faced each other twice before with the last of those contests coming in 1994 as part of the postseason NIT.

SEC/Big 12 Challenge

The Big 12 Conference is looking to get the challenge trophy back in their series with the S.E.C. after losing it for the first time last year.

Oklahoma has won 21 of its last 24 games inside Lloyd Noble Center.

The Sooners have won 135 of their last 142 non-conference games in Norman and are 43-4 at LNC against non-conference opponents under Kruger.

Christian James leads Oklahoma (14.5) in scoring with an average of 16.5 points per game. He’s also the team leader in rebounding, just edging out Brady Manek with 7.5 boards per game.

Manek is recording 6.9 rebounds per game and is second on the team in scoring with an average of 11.3 points per game.

Senior guard Aaron Calixte leads the team with 2.9 assists per game.

Scouting The Commodores

Vanderbilt (9-9) is led by Simisola Shittu’s 13.4 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. Both of those are team highs among active players for the Commodores.

Saben Lee (12.8 PPG) and Aaron Nesmith (10 PPG) round out Vandy’s top scorers.
