Last season, the Oklahoma Sooners fielded an offensive line that featured the likes of Cody Ford. Now preparing for the NFL Draft next month, the lineman projects as a first round pick. Recently appearing the podcast ‘Stick to Football’ hosted by the Bleacher Report, the right tackle was asked to play a bit of word association.
We asked @Cody_Ford74 to play a word association game.

At the mention of Charles Omenihu, the former Sooner quickly replied, “average.” Recalling correctly, Omenihu earned a starting role during all four years with the Texas Longhorns on the collegiate ranks. Catching word of exchange, the defensive lineman quickly began defending himself.
Can’t be that average when I had two sacks 3 tfls and 3 pressures against the “best OL In the country” in both games we played. Doesn’t seem average to me 🤔 and won DL of the year…

Offering a retort of his own, Ford said this:
Every time you lined up on my side you was on lock. You and boy Breckyn gets no play and we can definitely pull that tape up

Of course, all chaos broke loose afterward as the two continued to exchang blows via social media.
