Falepolima Aviu, Caleigh Clifton, Raegan Rogers and Audrie LaValley all homered for OU on Sunday but they were far from being the primary story.
The Sooners crossed home plate 14 times in a five inning run-rule victory that secured a series sweep of Iowa State and boosted Oklahoma’s conference winning streak to 40 games.
While the Sooners were blasting the Cyclones from the batter’s box Giselle Juarez was in complete control from the pitching circle. Facing the minimum of fifteen batters, “G” retired every single one of them, 12 by strikeout, to record her second perfect game of the season, and the second of her career.

Juarez now joins Paige Parker as the only Oklahoma softball players to record multiple perfect games in the same season.
The Sooners return to Oklahoma to face Oklahoma State May 3-5. OU travels to Stillwater on Friday, hosts the Cowgirls in Norman on Saturday and returns to Stillwater on Sunday.
