The Oklahoma Sooners continue to scour the nation for premiere offensive skill sets. Most recently, the program extended an official scholarship offer to a 2020 wide receiver, E.J. Williams. According to 247Sports, the wideout stands 6-3 and holds a 4-star rating.
Touted as a kid with exceptional length and field awareness, Williams possesses the ability to challenge defenders downfield. Refusing to shy away from contact, the 188-pound receiver in a collegiate strength and conditioning program could easily pay dividends. However, there are a few weaknesses displayed from a prospect with a basketball background. Working out the kinks and buying into a physical brand of football, the sky is the limit for Williams.
As the No. 93 recruit in the nation, Williams holds offers from around the country. Most notably, the receiver has drawn interest from the likes of Clemson, Alabama, and Georgia in addition to Oklahoma — all College Football Playoff Contenders.
