No one knows the pain, suffering, and elation that athletes go through better than the parents that have supported them since childhood in the pursuit of their dreams. For most people, success breeds a greater appreciation for the ones who helped pushed them along the way and, in most cases, no one does more than mom.
Marquise Brown knows a thing or two about success. The former Sooners rose from the trials of working a job at Six Flags to pay for his tuition while playing at College of the Canyons to catching touchdown passes from back-to-back Heisman Trophy winners while making his own mark in the Oklahoma Football record books.
In April Brown was drafted 25th overall in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. However, according to Brown himself, the biggest moment of his life was saying, “thank you” to his mom with the gift of a lifetime.
Good for you Hollywood. Good for you!
