Oklahoma Sooners Football | CeeDee Lamb Named A Biletnikoff Award Finalist

Each and every year, the Biletnikoff Award recognizes the nation’s premier college receiver regardless of position. With a multitude of hopefuls compiling resumes worthy of consideration, only one will join the likes of Calvin Johnson, Randy Moss, Larry Fitzgerald, and Amari Cooper. For now, three players from various programs remain in the hunt.

Over the course of the season, CeeDee Lamb has accounted for 46 receptions which ranks at the bottom of the NCAA. However, it’s the production on those catches that quickly catches the attention of any fan base. Racking up 999 yards through ten games of action, the receiver provides unfathomable value to the Oklahoma Sooners’ offensive attack. Averaging 21.72 yards per catch, Lamb sits third in the country statically.

The other two candidates are LSU’s Ja’Marr Chase and USC’s Michael Pittman Jr. Leading the nation in yardage per outing, Chase racks up 126 receiving yards per game. On the other hand, Pittman Jr. averages 7.9 receptions per game which ranks fourth in the country.

Which one of these standouts will hoist the award on December 12th?
