Mark Andrews and Baker Mayfield shared some good times together at the University of Oklahoma. The duo combined to help the Sooners win three consecutive conference championships, two College Football Playoff appearances, and a Sugar Bowl victory over Auburn. Even though they are conference rivals now in the NFL’s AFC North their crimson and cream bond still runs deep.
In October Mayfield’s Cleveland Browns were shellacked by the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football. In that game, San Francisco defensive end Nick Bosa celebrated a sack of Mayfield by mimicking a flag plant during his sack dance. This was an obvious shot at Mayfield who planted the OU flag at mid-field of Ohio Stadium when the Sooners beat the Buckeyes 31-16 during the 2017 season.
On Sunday it was Andrews’ turn to take a shot back. After scoring on a 20-yard pass from Lamar Jackson Andrews got with a few of his teammates and returned the favor.
“It was a little comeback,” Andrews said.
Baltimore’s tight end even mimicked Bosa’s post-game press conference from earlier this year where he talked about yelling “Baker, Baker” throughout the game.
“It was like, ‘Bosa, Bosa!’ One of those things. Just like he said, ‘Baker, Baker,’” Andrews said. “It is what it is. Just having fun out there.

Andrews and the Ravens beat the 49ers, 20-17, to improve to 10-2 on the season.
