We are now three weeks into the first season of the new and improved XFL. Each week we have seen improvements from every team, and new stars have emerged as well.
Lots of things got shaken up in week three, so check our updated power rankings.
1. Houston Roughnecks (3-0)
Houston remains as the only undefeated team, and they’ve looked impressive doing it. The Vipers gave them some trouble on Saturday, but the Roughnecks offense prevailed.
2. Dallas Renegades (2-1)
The Renegades have continued to struggle on offense through three weeks. They’ve started games poorly, and turned the ball over way too often. Their ability to turn things around in the second half is the reason they’re 2-1 on the season. If Dallas can clean things up on offense, they have a shot at running the table.
3. DC Defenders (2-1)
The Defenders looked unbeatable in the first two weeks of the season. However, the 0-2 Wildcats dominated them 39-9. We will chalk it up as a bad week and leave DC in the top 3, but you could argue that the Battlehawks are more deserving after their win over the Guardians.
4. St. Louis Battlehawks (2-1)
5. LA Wildcats (1-2)
6. Seattle Dragons (1-2)
7. NY Guardians (1-2)
8. Tampa Bay Vipers (0-3)
