Oklahoma Sooners Add 8th Commitment Of 2021 Cycle

On Friday afternoon, the Oklahoma Sooners picked up a commitment from defensive tackle Isaiah Coe. With the pledge, a group that once appeared extremely thin now has experience and depth moving forward.

At the time of writing, the junior college prospect holds eleven scholar offers from various schools. Taking to social media to make the announcement, Coe said, “I want to give great appreciation to every school that has offered me throughout this recruitment.” He continued the statement with, “This was the hardest decision I’ve ever made in life and this came with very much thought.”

Standing 6-3 and 305-pounds, Coe accounted for 13 tackles for loss alongside 6.5 sacks. Clearly able to provide pressure up the middle, the commitment is a welcomed addition to a defense residing in the Big 12 Conference.

Coe becomes the eighth commitment of the 2021 Class and first of the position.
