Wednesday afternoon continued a busy week of recruiting news for Oklahoma State football as wide receiver Cam Smith (6-1/165) from Braswell High School in Denton, Texas, committed to the Cowboys for the class of 2021.
Smith is a 3-star athlete who put together an impressive junior year last season by pulling in 76 receptions for 1259 yards and 15 touchdowns.
As of now, Smith is ranked just 74th nationally among wide receivers and 158th overall for players coming out of state of Texas, but with his senior year ahead of him, there is plenty of time to see that stock improve.
A number of quality wide receivers have made their way to the NFL by taking a road through Stillwater, Oklahoma, so it’s no surprise that the Cowboys continue to draw interest from potential playmakers looking to make it to the next level.
Cam Smith’s signing with the Cowboys marks the 10th commitment for Oklahoma State football for the class of 2021, including 5 in the last 4 days and the 3rd receiver of the day.
